2 Horse Trailer Pricing and Configuration
The most commonly used and best-selling product in our factory is the 2 horse trailer.
Many customers often ask about the price of a 2 horse trailer. Today, I will summarize the details for you.
Since 2 horse trailers are mainly custom-made, prices vary depending on the brand, functionality, materials, and configuration. The price range for 2-horse trailers from other brands is generally between $15,000 ~ $45,000. However, thanks to our location in Shandong, China, where labor and material costs are very low, our factory price is approximately half of what other brands charge. With the same configuration and quality, our 2 horse trailers offer a clear price advantage.
Our factory mainly uses galvanized steel pipes for the production of 2 horse trailers. Some customers prefer aluminum material. While aluminum doesn’t rust and is lighter, its strength is much lower than galvanized steel, and it is also more expensive. This is why we mainly use galvanized steel. However, if a customer prefers aluminum, we can customize it.
Here are the basic configurations of our 2 horse trailer:
Appearance: Special 2 horse trailer chassis, welded from high-strength galvanized thick steel pipes.
Left-side Window: One large window that can be folded down or pushed open, making it easier to feed the horses;
Saddle Rack: A movable rack for three saddles, removable when not in use.Guide Wheel: One set (custom heavy-duty), adjustable travel height from 40-60 cm.
Exterior Paint: The whole trailer is coated with automotive-grade paint from the PPG imported brand, with a film thickness of about 120-180 microns, offering a high-quality finish with gloss, hardness, and good adhesion.
Side Door: One standard steel door (right-opening).
Roof: Made of fiberglass, offering high insulation and strength, equipped with two ventilated skylights. The inner ceiling is lined for better protection and enhanced soundproofing and heat insulation.
Tie Rings: Made from thick stainless steel, with waterproof imported rubber edge protection.
Tires: Thickened aluminum alloy wheels, 195/70R15LT 10PR, tubeless tires.
Mudguards/Side Aluminum Panels: Thickened aluminum checker plates covering the entire trailer, making it easy to clean dirt and debris from the surface while maintaining a clean and aesthetic appearance. The side aluminum panels are 600mm high.
Horse Partition: Removable horse partition with three adjustable widths for different-sized horses. The partition is padded for the safety of the horses and has a corrosion-resistant powder coating.
Axles: Custom dual-axle 2 horse trailer with four-wheel electromagnetic brakes.
Hay Rack: For storing items, hay, etc.
Chassis: High-strength galvanized standard steel profiles, welded into a high-density frame for superior strength and stability.
Safety System: Australian BRAKE AWAY safety towing system, equipped with dual 10mm galvanized safety chains, an automatic brake system, and three levels of protection. It also includes an electromagnetic brake protector, which enables auto parking when the front or rear vehicle is detached.
Rear Door: Split into upper and lower opening doors.
