Due to the working environment, after using a heavy-duty scissor lift outdoors for a period of time, rust spots may appear on the surface of the equipment. Rust not only affects the appearance of the equipment, but prolonged oxidation can lead to more severe corrosion. The longer this process continues, the greater the impact on the lift.
Heavy-duty scissor lifts are prone to rusting due to their heavy weight or collisions during operation, which damage the surface coating and expose the equipment to oxidation. The equipment’s packaging and transportation must also meet higher standards.
Before shipping, repainting work will be done. The equipment will be wrapped in packaging film to minimize any bumps or scratches during transit. Upon arrival, thorough checks should be conducted on the equipment. For use in rainy or snowy weather, proper waterproofing measures should be taken. If the surface coating comes off during use, repainting should be done immediately.
When the lift has been stored for an extended period, the paint condition must be checked and repaired if necessary. When not in use, the heavy-duty lift should be operated intermittently once a month to ensure proper lubrication of the bearings.
